Like Ruth in a Foreign Land

The day starts early, 5 o'clock - lunches are made and packed. Kisses out the door.  The 3 bedroom 2 bath Airbnb is now quiet and still once more. I sit in the stillness and soak it in. By lamp light I begin my day. I spend time with my creator. I worship through song, I thank God for His blessings and I cry at the thought of His goodness. I begin my study on Ruth. Through the story of Ruth I am reminded that "God is always at work behind the scenes, even when His hand is not plainly seen" and how "He  works supernaturally through the simple faith of ordinary people". People like you and me! Isn't God great friends? I want to stay here, in this moment all day! I need to be still and know that He is God! I too am like Ruth, in a foreign land among strangers looking for God's plan for my life. Pray with me today friends,  pray He will continue to reveal Himself to me and to you.
